Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination Package
Award Criteria
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who, over the course of a lifetime, has distinguished themselves on a regional, national or international basis in any field of endeavour.
To be nominated for a Lifetime Achievement Award, the alumni must:
- graduate from the University of Regina in a recognized degree, diploma or certificate program
- accomplish a lifetime of extraordinary contribution and achievement in one or more fields of endeavour
- give back to society on a regional, national or international level
- strengthen alumni pride and affinity to University of Regina
- be recognized within their community or field as an exceptional leader
- inspire alumni, faculty, staff and students.
1) Please complete an online nomination including:
a) Nominee’s name and contact info
b) Nominator’s name and contact info
c) A biographical summary that addresses these questions about the nominee:
- How does the candidate fulfill the award criteria?
- In what ways have they achieved distinction in their field of endevour?
- What impact have they made in their profession and community?
- How do the nominee's achievements reflect positively on the University of Regina?
- Include previous awards and honors if applicable
2) Collect 2 – 5 letters of support
- Letters of support from professional peers and those impacted by the nominee
- Letters of support from family members will not be accepted
3) Submit the nomination form including a biographical summary by April 15, 2021.
Successful candidates will be contacted by the Alumni Engagement Office for their agreement
- To accept the award
- To participate in a customized mentorship program with students and faculty
- To be present at the awards ceremony in fall of 2021 in Regina to accept the award
- To participate in promotion activities.
