The Alumni Effect Speaker Series

The University of Regina's Alumni Relations Office is proud to introduce a new speaker series - The Alumni Effect. Each of The Alumni Effect Virtual Speaker Series events will feature an accomplished alumni in our community and globally. These presentations are FREE and OPEN to all, but attendees must register in advance to receive the Zoom link to participate.

Shortly after each lecture, the University of Regina Alumni Relations Office, will post videos from The Alumni Effect series. Feel free to review at your leisure and share with friends!

Christian Mbanza

BEd'17 - Le Bac

Christian is an educator working in the Regina Catholic School Division. He is the Community Outreach Director for Black in Saskatchewan (B.I.S), which contributes to the health and growth of the Black community by addressing systemic issues, and educating the broader public on the Black experience. He has dedicated his career to celebrating Blackness, addressing social issues, and making progress for the Afro-Canadian community, and is committed to cultivating relationships with staff, students, and parents of diverse backgrounds. Christian is currently completing his master’s degree in educational psychology at the University of Regina.
