Without You, There Is No Us: Undercover Among the Sons of North Korea’s Elite
By Suki Kim

A haunting account of teaching English to the sons of North Korea’s ruling class during the last six months of Kim Jong-il’s reign. Without You, There Is No Us offers a moving and incalculably rare glimpse of life in the world’s most unknowable country, and at the privileged young men she calls “soldiers and slaves.”

It's easy. Sign up at https://www.pbc.guru/uregina or keep reading to learn more.

How it works. The Book Club offers a private online forum where people can connect over discussions about our current book selection. Club members will spend two months on each book, so you'll have plenty of time to read.

Reading and discussion for our Second Summer Session begins January 7th.  Stay tuned for our announcement of our Spring Session as we excited to showcase another author in addition to a BONUS BOOK!
