University of Regina Alumni Association
Thank you to our 60 plus alumni who participated in our first Virtual Annual General Meeting held on September 16, 2020. It was wonderful to see and hear from so many of our valued alumni from all over Canada and the world. We had alumni from Alberta, Ontario and even India. The URAA board would like to thank the University Advancement and Communications team and AV Services for their excellent and professional virtual production of our AGM.
A huge thanks as well to our special guest speaker, Dr. Margaret Dagenais, who shared her insights, knowledge and experience as an 11-year serving member of the URAA Board of Directors. In 2018, Dr. Dagenais was the recipient of the Dr. Robert and Norma Ferguson Crowning Achievement Award from the URAA as recognition for what she describes as “an 11-year experiential learning opportunity.” Dr. Dagenais was referring to the 11 years she devoted to the board of URAA, but the award recognized much more than that: it acknowledged her years of service to the University of Regina, as well as to the URAA. To learn more about Dr. Dagenais you can find her bio and presentation, 11 Reasons to Volunteer, in the AGM Package.
Stay tuned for further updates and information throughout the year from the URAA 2020/21 Board of Directors.
